Leave the hustle and bustle of everyday life behind you and experience carefree moments of well-being in absolute peace and harmony with nature.
Situated among the vineyards, above the small UNESCO heritage town of Nizza Monferrato, our Boutique Country House is the ideal place to relax, explore the beautiful surroundings on foot, by bicycle, Vespa or car and enjoy the Alpine panorama.
A structure designed for ecological tourism
Our boutique guest house, nestled in the vineyards of Monferrato (a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2014), was completed and opened in 2019.
Our aim is eco-tourism, which is why our accommodation was built on the basis of energy and climate efficiency (building insulation, triple glazing, solar panels etc.). We only use renewable energy sources, so we are also independent and feed surplus energy into the local power grid.
Energy certification A+++
We are one of the few structures to have received A+++ certification from the Piedmont region.
Our house was built according to UNESCO standards and the sustainability recommendations of the UNWTO (World Tourism Organisation).
- The materials used in the renovation come from the Piedmont region and all reusable materials from the old building have been integrated into the new construction.
- The photovoltaic system on the roof produces more electricity than we consume, i.e. we do not consume electricity from outside. Instead, we feed electricity into the grid.
- The geothermal system, together with the heat pump, provides our rooms with the right amount of warmth in winter and a pleasant coolness in summer.
- Rainwater is collected in 3 cisterns and used in the garden.
- All light sources used are economical LEDs.
- We try to avoid plastic whenever possible and use organic or recyclable materials. For example, we make all our soaps at home.
- Waste separation is a matter of course for us, organic waste is composted.
